Reading
The Reading tab displays the biblical text of a selected book and chapter.
Bible and Passage
- Bible menu: select an edition, About This Bible, Manage Bibles (opens Settings under Manage Modules)
- About This Bible opens a dialog with the edition’s full title, author, publisher, and copyright
- Book and Chapter field to enter or adjust the passage
- Select Book and Chapter opens the selector with the Chapter column, divided into Old Testament and New Testament
- Previous Book, Next Book, Previous Chapter, Next Chapter change the displayed passage
Display
Display Options allows you to toggle Show Verse Numbers.
Any Notes embedded in the text of the edition, if available, appear in the chapter.
A Read action from Search opens the corresponding passage here.
