Copy Profiles
Copy profiles control what goes on the clipboard: verses, references, separators, and shortcuts.
List
Name and Shortcut columns. One profile is the Default copy profile (Default): the Copy button on Search, and Ctrl+C on results. Ctrl+Space toggles the focused row. That profile and the last remaining profile cannot be deleted.
Editor
- Profile name and Default copy profile
- Shortcut (optional) — the first chord requires at least Ctrl, Shift, or Alt, plus a Key. Two-stroke second chord: copying happens only after the second key, within 2 seconds; the app shows the pending chord. Without a second key, copying is immediate. Conflicts with another profile or a reserved command are rejected.
Include verse
- Wrap verse in quotation marks — the verse is treated as a quotation: quotation marks and surrounding spaces come from the typographic profile.
- Group consecutive verses — verses that follow one another in the same chapter become a single block (one set of quotation marks), separated by a space. Otherwise, each verse is a separate block, joined by Separate verses with.
- Replace paragraph breaks with — line breaks in the source text are replaced by the chosen separator (None, Space, New line, Double new line, Tab, Custom…).
- Text before verse / Text after verse — text placed at that position on the clipboard (same separator choices).
Include reference
- Group consecutive references — one citation for verses that follow one another (shape defined by the reference profile), instead of one reference per verse.
- Group all references together — all citations from the selection are combined once, positioned according to Insert reference relative to the copied text as a whole.
- Insert reference:
- Before verse / After verse — on the same line as the verse.
- Above verse / Below verse — on a separate line.
- Between verse and reference — separator on the same line; only for Before verse or After verse.
- Text before reference, Text after reference — same as for the verse, placed on the clipboard at that position.
Reference profile
Defines the shape of the citation (book name, : or ,, range dash, and so on). From typographic profile uses the language-linked choice; a named profile overrides it for this copy only. There is no screen in the app to create or edit these profiles.
The Example shows the result, with Typographic profile for preview chosen for the preview.
