About
The About dialog box provides an overview of the installed version and update checks.
Open it via the application menu (logo, title, or chevron) → About.

When the first weekly check is prompted, the text explains that the check only contacts dl.bibleindex.app and does not send any analytics or identifiers. Respond with Yes or No.
If an update is available, the app offers to Visit the download page. Bible Index does not replace the program files itself; you download and install the new version as usual.
