Bible Index 1.0 is the first public release of the desktop app for everyday Bible work.

- **Search, read, and track.** Find a passage in the text you have installed, read it in the reader, and keep a record of what you have read.
- **Three languages.** The interface is available in English, French, and Portuguese.
- **Bibles included.**
    - King James Version
    - English Darby
    - French Darby (Rolle edition)
    - Tradução Literal da Bíblia (TLB), downloaded from inside Bible Index
- **Copy with a consistent look.** Starter typographic profiles and copy profiles help you paste passages in the same format each time.
- **Light and dark.** Theme colors support both modes.
- **Updates stay optional.** A weekly check is available, and Bible Index asks before you turn it on.
