# Keyboard Shortcuts

Open this list in the app with the shortcut below, or from **Help → Keyboard shortcuts** in the logo menu. The same list stays in this guide: each row carries a stable identifier so a new shortcut has to be added here as well as in the app.

On Windows and Linux the primary modifier is **Ctrl**. On Mac it is **Command**. Search and result shortcuts also accept **Ctrl** on Mac. **F1** has no modifier. **Alt+Left** and **Alt+Right** stay on Alt.

## Workspace

| F1 | Open this guide in the browser |
| Ctrl+T | New search tab |
| Ctrl+N | Choose tab type |
| Ctrl+W | Close the active tab |
| Ctrl+Tab | Next tab |
| Ctrl+Shift+Tab | Previous tab |
| Ctrl+Page Down | Next tab |
| Ctrl+Page Up | Previous tab |

## Search

| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+F | Focus the search field and select the query |
| Ctrl+Enter | Run the search |
| Alt+Left | Previous search |
| Alt+Right | Next search |
| Ctrl+V | Paste into the search field when focus is not already in a text field |
| A character key | Type into the search field when focus is not already in a text field |
| Esc | In the search field, restore the last search that was run |
| Down | Move into the results |

## Results

| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Up / Down, Home, End, Page Up / Page Down | Move the selection |
| Up on the first row | Return to the search field |
| Ctrl+Up / Down, Ctrl+Home, Ctrl+End | Move the focus without changing the selection |
| Shift + navigation | Extend the selection |
| Ctrl+A | Select all (Command on Mac as well) |
| Ctrl+C | Copy with the default profile (Command on Mac as well) |
| Ctrl+Space | Toggle the focused row (Command on Mac as well) |
| Esc | Clear the selection |

## Copy

| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Esc | Cancel a second key while a copy shortcut is waiting |
